BONN PARK

SADNESS AND MELANCHOLY

1h 10min (no intermission) | Scena Przodownik

He set foot on the Earth and ended the Ice Age. He sat on the bed and Rome was built; he stretched, Rome was destroyed. He took one step towards a window and Mozart was born, another step and the filming of Amadeus began. He pulled back the curtains and capitalism ended. He looked out the window: summer, fall, winter, spring. Day’s end, day break. The end of the world, the beginning of the world.
Zdzisław Wardejn and Waldemar Barwiński’s stellar duet explores sadness and endorphins in prolonged hibernation, oblivious to the sound of the alarm clock ringing.
Sadness and Melancholy is a tragicomedy about the passing of time — a real comedy about depression.
