1h 20min (no intermission) | Scena Przodownik

Co-production of Warsaw Mime Center and The Dramatic Theatre of Warsaw

“Marcel” is a tribute paid to the greatest mime and a teacher of Lionel Ménard – Marcel Marceau.
The director brings up the events from Marceau’s life: his schooldays, first love, teenage crushes and plans for the future. All of this is verified by the horror of war. The performance is a story about dreams and consistency in pursuing one’s goal. It’s also an affirmation of art which notwithstanding the tragedy of history, death and adversities overcomes oblivion.
