TADEUSZ SŁOBODZIANEK

FATALIST

1h (no intermission) | Scena im. H. Mikołajskiej

The 1930s, Warsaw. He comes back home with a lipstick stain on his cheek and doesn’t want to eat her broth. She was supposed to meet her cousin but was seen in a man’s company and made the broth too hot on purpose. Because if both have two romances each, are they even?
The newest play from the Nike Award winner Tadeusz Słobodzianek takes place during one evening, when the time has come to clarify a few things. Witty, full of humor dialogs tell the life story of a Jewish couple, where the life among the bohemian artists entwines with lightning candles for the Sabbath dinner.
